This review will be like none other! At least not like any other review we’ve done. Why, you ask? Because we didn’t get appetizerz! We had three suggestions to visit Swig located in downtown Perrysburg. So we knew it had to be good!
El Camino Real
Tizerz recently visited El Camino Real on Sylvania Ave to review a few more appetizerz. El Camino Real is a favorite Mexican place for many Toledo residents.
Pasta Fina
We, at Tizerz, love Italian food! And we’ve had a lot of it! So for a place to stand out above the rest must really mean it has something special to offer! Pasta Fina did just that!

Nick & Jimmy’s
For Tizerz first adventure into the culinary world, we stopped by a local bar and grill called Nick & Jimmy’s. This restaurant had a friendly atmosphere that was complemented by dining rooms decked out in sponsorship signs that came anywhere from local auto dealers to paintball facilities. The tables and booths are decently sized and can accommodate room for a large party of guests. The location that we visited had an adjacent game/arcade room for a little fun before or after the meal. This is a typical bar and grill atmosphere with upbeat music and casually dressed staff members.

We are looking for privately owned restaurants in the Toledo area that you would like reviewed based on their appetizerz.
Here’s how it will work:
- You suggest a local (non-major food chain) restaurant you want us to review
- We visit your restaurant of choice!
- While there we will order at least two appetizerz.
a. A staff suggestion for their favorite starter
b. Either a signature appetizer/one that looks too good to pass up!
